Game developers are now bringing advanced financial fraud-detection software, one of the fastest-growing sectors of the game industry are Massively Multiplayer Online games , MMO cheating is getting higher these days, according to the Security experts; game cheaters use automated shortcuts to improve their avatars’ status. Some cheaters do it just for enjoyment. Game developers have taken a page from banks and credit card companies and with the help of fraud-detection software they can analyze the quickening stream of events that occur in an ordinary MMO day. Online games are gaining popularity, quite a lot of people are fond of playing games, the number of cheaters are also growing fast Some cheats just try to improve their character. David Whatley, the CEO of Simutronics said “If players cheat, the software can recognize a deviation from the norm and flag it.” Gary McGraw, CTO of Cigital, a software security and consulting firm said “The problems that MMO developers experience today are a harbinger of the kinds of problems we can expect to see in all other kinds of software in the future.”
