This year’s highly accepted video game is Guitar Hero, The original game came out in 2005, and now there is Guitar Hero II and a Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock, as well as a Guitar Hero Encore. The name of the companies who were involved in building up and marketing the original Guitar Hero game for the Sony PlayStation2 are Harmonix and RedOctane. The relationship between Guitar Hero and higher sales is only just blank and white, conventional marketing efforts resulted in increase in sale of album or cds. On the other hand there is quite strong relation between game and sales.
