The Game Cube Revolution
By Teddy Peterson on January 27th, 2007
Nintendo is the company that dominates the billion dollar gaming industry. It has created many systems and one of their newest creations is Game Cube!
The Game Cube was pulled out by Nintendo when the market seems to have become saturated by Playstation-2 and Xbox. Therefore to penetrate such market was not easy but Game Cube made it just by displaying one of the most advance technologies.
The marketing gurus at Nintendo were aware of the stiff competition from Playstation-2 and Xbox. And therefore they decided to stay out and created their own playground. They brought Game Cube as a family gaming consol loaded with all those family friendly features, targeting everyone in the family, kids, young and even the old ones.
Surplus games titles were released, more then 500 titles to choose from. So that everyone can have their share of game playing enjoyment. Titles like: Resident Evil, Mario, The Legend of Zelda, Pokémon, Metroid Prime and Medal of Honor.
At one shot you might think, the Game Cube cannot play a DVD, it uses its own mini disc and it does not have any online gaming capabilities. But don’t assume things about its features, all these short comings are turning out to become its cutting edge features.
Game Cube can seamlessly connect with two handheld based video game systems called the Gameboy Advance and the Gameboy Advance SP.
Further a new system called Nintendo Revolution to be release in 2006 is as usually loaded with the features like, Play DVD movies, Nintendo GameCube games, support four controllers, built-in Wi-Fi that enables one to connect to the Nintendo’s Wi-Fi Wireless network.
This new system will be having something new called a “virtual console” that will allow the player to download any Super Nintendo, Nintendo 64, and Nintendo NES video game titles made during Nintendo’s existence. And in the latest section, you will get latest video game titles like Mario, Zelda, and Donkey Kong that will make their debut with Nintendo Revolution.
So, don’t just wait, simply get on with you latest Game Cube and enjoy! There is something for everyone!
